Activity Club Announcements

11/06/18:
Thank you to everyone who made our 2018 Turkey Supper a huge success. Thanks to Hy-Vee in LeMars for making our turkey (everything else was homemade). Thanks to our spouses and kids for their help all week and to everyone that helped make the dressing and green bean casserole and peel the potatoes - over 400 pounds were generously raised and donated by the Paul Galles family. Thanks for the hamburger donations for the stuffing from Jim & Rosie Staab, Jerry & Marcia Weiler, and Terry & Marilyn Bunkers. Thanks to all parents for their yummy salads and desserts and to all our workers. Thanks most of all to those who came and enjoyed our turkey dinner....we served 828 meals total, 387 sit down meals and 441 carry outs, of which 102 were deliveries. Don Delperdang won the 1/2 and 1/2 jar and generously donated it back!

Remsen St. Mary's will be hosting a tailgate at their first home game this Friday, August 31, 2018 vs. Boyer Valley. 

The sponsor of the tailgate will be Total Sales, who will have some vehicles on display, too. They will be serving a tenderized pork chop sandwich, baked beans, chips and beverage.  

Please join us to root on our Hawks football players and cheerleaders to a victory!! GO HAWKS!!

2018-2019 Activity Club All Sports Passes Available Now

Get your annual All Sport Activity Pass for the 2018-2019 RSM sports seasons now! Don't miss a single home, regular season athletic event featuring our wonderful athletes. Just turn in the completed form, with your payment, to the office. The proceeds of the sales will go toward all of the costs associated with supporting the RSM athletes.

2018 Activity Club Fish Supper Thank You

We would like to thank all the people who helped make the 2018 Fish Supper such a success. We served 641 dinner/carry outs. The ½ & ½ jar was won by Ray Pick, he graciously donated it back.

Special Thanks to everyone who helped set up. Those who baked the fish were Jay Schroeder & Dean Loutsch. Those who fried and breaded the fish were Scott & Julie Schwickerath, Bart & Kelly Galles, Brett & Emma Galles, Luke & Beth Homan, Clint & Heidi Tritz, Mark & Tammy Galles, Will & Tori Galles, Chris Frederes. Thanks to our set up crew and special helpers Casey, Amy, Colbey & Brodey Penning, Mickey, Judy & Brady Koenck, Pete Feller & Mary Kay Roling.

Businesses and individuals that helped and donated were Remsen Processing Center, Dave & RaNae Homan, Remsen Lumber Company, JB Propane, Gengler Feed Service, Dick & Betty Homan, Little Sioux Corn Processors, Randy & Ann Gengler, American Bank & Iowa State Bank. All the individuals who donated sweet corn!

A special thanks to St. Mary’s students and parents and all who made salads & desserts. Without your help this would not have been such a success. All the proceeds go to help fund activities at St. Mary’s High School and Junior High such as Band, Choir, Quiz Bowl, Dance Team, Cheerleading, Basketball, Football, Softball, Baseball, Track, Speech, St. Mary’s Buses and Bus Driver Salaries.

02/13/18:
Thanks to all the sponsors of the Hawks Half Time Hot Shots contest – Schorg Ag Supply, Mrs. B’s, Gengler Feed Service, Barry’s Electric, Beck’s, & RGS Seeds (Pete & Nick Galles).  The half court prize was not won this season, so the money will be put into the AC general fund, which is used to support all our teams. Thanks also to American Bank for sponsoring the $3 for 3’s promotion. The AC appreciates everyone’s support – we couldn’t do it without you. Good luck to the Hawks in district play.

The Activity Club is in need of donations of home grown sweet corn for the upcoming Fish Supper on February 16. If you have any that you are able to donate, even small amounts, please call Melany Roling at 712-786-3170 by Friday, February 9. Thank you for your help.

The soup and sandwich supper is tonight from 4:30-8:00. We need high school families to provide a sandwich loaf of individual sandwiches and 7^th and 8^th grade parents to provide bars or desserts. Please deliver each to kitchen by 4:00. Thank you!

01/04/17:
After a long Christmas break, the Hawks are back in action tonight against Hartley Melvin Sanborn.  JV boys kick off the action this afternoon at 4:30, followed by girls at 6:00 and the 3rd ranked boys. Let's pack the gym tonight to show support for our basketball teams. Also, take a chance on the Hawks Half Time Hot Shots. Up to 2 lucky participants will have a chance to win: a free drink and popcorn (layup) sponsored by Schorg Ag Supply a pizza certificate (free throw) sponsored by Mrs. B's $10 concession bucks (3 pointer) sponsored by Gengler Feed Service and Barry's Electric

09/10/17:
All Season Sports Passes can be purchased throughout the year. The earlier you purchase them, however, the more value you receive because you will get admittance to all the home games. If you would like to purchase a pass ($100 per adult), just bring your check to the office. The Activity Club will get the pass to you ASAP. Under the Activities tab, and Sports, you will find a link to the All Sports Pass. You may print out an order form.
